We recently installed this Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm System into a Church in the Centre of Bath.
All wiring was installed in surface trunking to remain sympathetic to the fabric of the building. A combination of Heat and Smoke Detectors were used for accurate detection in the relevant areas of the Church. For the Emergency Lighting we used Bulkheads, Exit Boxes and Twin Spot Emergency Lights all with test Key Switches. We supplied the client with a full set of NICEIC Certificates (Design, Installation, Completion), ‘As Fitted’ Drawings and Zone Chart plus Log Books for both systems.

We just finished installing this church in the heart of Bath with emergency lighting and a fire alarm system. To avoid disrupting the aesthetics of the building, all wiring was put in surface trunking. I have to confess, this is a fantastic post.

Your blog is great, and I appreciate your being so conscientious about its content. For the Emergency Lighting, we employed Bulkheads, Exit Boxes, and Twin Spot Emergency Lights, all of which were equipped with test Key Switches, and I'm thrilled to have found this wonderfully well-written article. We gave the customer all of the necessary paperwork, including NICEIC Certificates (Design, Installation, and Completion), 'As Fitted' Drawings, a Zone Chart, and Log Books for both systems. And I hope you'll be sharing even more in the future!
